As virtual assistants, we share and collaborate on files with clients daily. While there are a number of file sharing programs out there, I have found three that I use on a regular basis and that clients have found to be useful. Shared files work well when two or more people need to work on or share a file. It’s so much easier than emailing, and everyone seems to love using them after they get the hang of it.
Dropbox – My First File Sharing Love
When I first tried Dropbox, I fell in love with the program. It’s easy to invite other to share with you, simple to download, and easy to use right out of the box. Clients love this program once they get used to using it.
Then Came SugarSync
At some point, I wanted to compare different file sharing programs, and I naturally found myself at SugarSync’s website. I’m just as delighted with their program, though the first desktop app required a bit of a learning curve.
There’s a New App In Town – Cubby
It wasn’t long before I found Cubby. Another file sharing program that comes with a desktop app for those who want the ease of working with files on their desktop. It’s easy enough to sync, share, and store.
Yes, I do use them all. Each of these online tools have been useful for their own purpose. Try them out, and see if they might work for you.
